A fake advertisement for iOS 7 dupes iPhone users into thinking the update makes their iPhones waterproof -- And people actually fell for it! All faith in humanity is lost.

In the very well created Apple-esque advertisement that made it's way around social media sites, the ad states "Update to iOS 7 and become waterproof," and that "Waterproofing covered by Apple's warranty policy," sparked a lot of not-so-smart iPhone users to test out the new feature.

Twitter blew up with comical tweets "reminding" people that iOS 7 does not waterproof you phone, and people who actually fell for it and ruined their phone. Warning, some tweets may not be safe for work because of language.
