Choosing a costume to wear in Grand Junction this Halloween is going to be a little more difficult than usual. Dressing like a clown is pretty much out, so it seems people will need to find alternatives. If you're looking for ideas, and living on a budget, here are a few costume ideas courtesy of Youtube you might consider.

Should you follow these suggestions, it's unlikely you'll show up for the party wearing the same costumes as someone else. Who do you know who plans to dress like "Throat Punch Lady" this Halloween? You can't buy this costume at Kmart, or for that matter, McDonald's.

Looking for something in a neck-collar, perhaps you should go as "Claudette - The Mad at Hobby Lobby Lady."

On a budget this year? Can you afford a piece of tinfoil?

This costume is a little more complicated but definitely worth it. "Crimson Fist" is a real-life superhero in Atlanta. Everybody dresses like Batman. Be original, and try out this idea.

If you're short on bucks, but long on hair, you might consider going as "Chili Bowl Mullet Man."  A bowl, pair of scissors, and a complete lack of any self-esteem, and you could go as this guy.

Since it's unlikely anybody around the valley will dress as a clown or for that matter The Joker or any other costume likely to get them a shot, perhaps these suggestions really aren't that bad.
