Video of Girl Ice Skating Down a Grand Junction Street

Grand Junction's roads were so icy a resident was caught on video ice skating down the middle of the street. This video was shared with us earlier today on our Facebook page.

At a glance, that street literally looks to be as "smooth as ice." There's a reason for that. Western Colorado's recent weather has left this street looking more like an ice rink than a residential road.

Sign this young lady up for the pros! With skating technique like this, she's ready for the hockey circuit. Okay, so Grand Junction doesn't have a professional hockey team. Who needs one? We have Elm Street, or whatever this street is. Put a couple of goals at each end, find a few more skaters like her, and you're set.

Fire up your skates and follow this young lady's example. Who needs an arena or lake when you have downtown Grand Junction?
