How Many Genders Are There? SEVEN according to Bellvue College

How many genders can you name? Bellvue College is giving it's students SEVEN choices! Find out what they are . . . .

Let me start this off by saying, "To each there own!" I don't care what you are . . .

Now with that being said, we've all filled out the paperwork asking what gender you are, and to be honest it shouldn't be that complicated, but in this day and age it shouldn't surprise you that it IS!

Bellevue College in now giving it's applicants SEVEN different options to choose from in when answering the gender question. Now I don't know about you but when the "Sex" box is on any form, only the following options come to MY mind:

• Male
• Female
• Yes
• No
• Please

But now students at Bellvue in Washington state now have SEVEN choices including:

1. Feminine-Me (Mack)
2. Masculine-My husband
3. Androgynous-Pat from Saturday Night Live
4. Transgender-According to Wikipedia this sex, "describes people who may act, feel, think, or look different from the gender that they were assigned by society based on their sex."
5. Gender Neutral-You have to look this one up yourself, even with the Wikipedia explanation I don't think I can explain it . . .
6. Other-You mean there's MORE?!
7. Prefer Not to Say-Which cracks me up! If folks can admit to all the above what have YOU got to hide?

Apparently college officials believe the options will help them create, "better services and classes for gender-variant students."
