If you haven't seen the social media frenzy of "Sharing" about this event, here's the scoop!

The National Day of Prayer is an annual event that encourages people of EVERY faith to pray for our nation and it's happening Thursday May 1st Worldwide!

According to the National Day of Prayer website it was created in 1952 and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman and every President since then has signed a National Day of Prayer proclamation.

You can do this at home, work, your car or you can attend a local event in support of this day! Right now there are four events being hosted across the Grand Valley from Fruita to Collbran! Find or create one HERE!
