House Explosions in Grand Junction Sends One to Hospital

Grand Junction Police Department responded to the riverside neighborhood area after a house exploded sending one to the hospital.

At approximately 3:30 PM Monday (February 24,) the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the area of 445 4th Avenue after a house exploded and a second fire started in the area.

The cause of the explosions is still under investigate, officials believe the explosion was caused by natural gas in the kitchen.
