The long days of sweltering summer heat are upon us here in Northern Colorado. Wish you could cool off in your own private pool, only to realize you don't have one because you are just a regular person? No worries, you can rent one by the hour. Yeah, I didn't know it was a thing either.

Enter Swimply. Swimply is a website that allows you to rent a pool, sort of like Airbnb, but it's by the hour. Unfortunately, there aren't any Swimply pools in the Fort Collins area (Pssst! Someone with a pool get on it, please.). There are a number of pools available in Colorado, however. On the low end, pools start in the $30 per hour range. Other Swimply rentals are a little pricier if you really want to dive into the experience, but if you've got a big group of friends, no issue!

Some Swimply pools are heated, others come with separate hot tubs; some are city pools while others are in the seclusion of the mountains. Want a saltwater pool? A slide? A grill? Floaties included? You can find those, too. What they don't come with is other people's kids, which is probably worth it in itself.

On the other hand, if you do have a pool and you'd like to bank on that, Swimply says you could make up to $10,000 per month renting out your pool to hot pool-less people. Swimply become a host here.
