Honey Dipped Pacifier Causes Botulism
If you have a baby do not give your baby a pacifier that is either honey dipped or contains honey. There have been multiple babies taken to the hospital and diagnosed with botulism because the babies had sucked on a pacifier that contained honey.
The FDA received reports from the state of Texas that four babies were hospitalized with botulism.
All four of the babies had used pacifiers containing honey from Mexico and also available through US retailers.
The FDA says not give children under the age of 1-year-old honey.
