Have You Ever Heard of Western Colorado’s ‘Mt. Lincoln’? [SURVEY]

I was born in Grand Junction, and I've never heard of Mt. Lincoln. My friend Kim was born here, too, and she's never heard of it, and she knows everything. According to some Grand Valley landmarks, Mt. Lincoln is that little thingy-ma-bob just East of Mt. Garfield on the Bookcliffs. Have you ever heard of it?

What does one do in a situation like this? Well, in my case, I do what I always do. I called my mom. She knew all about this. "Oh yeah, Mt. Lincoln... everybody know about Mt. Lincoln," she says.

For the record, we are not talking about the fourteener Mt. Lincoln located near Hoosier Pass.

According to the display at Eagle Rim Park on Orchard Mesa, the projection next to Mt. Garfield is in fact, Mt. Lincoln.
