Here's why a portion of 28 1/2 Road near North Avenue was shut down Saturday night.

A pedestrian was taken to the hospital with injuries after being hit by more than one vehicle on North Avenue in Grand Junction.

According to KKCO News, around 8 p.m. Saturday, a female attempted to cross North Avenue without a crosswalk or at an intersection. A first vehicle swerved to miss her, but the two vehicles following could not.
