The Grand Junction Police Department invites high school and college age students and their parents to participate in a presentation concerning choices young students may find themselves having to confront.

Let's face it, the last few years of high school and the beginning of college can be a risky era in most people's lives. Young people are faced with options they might not have considered earlier in life. Many of these "choices" come with long lasting effects.

A panel of guests including health care professionals, school recourse officers, and other community members, will be on hand to discuss long term consequences of poor decisions made during this period of a student's life.

The presentation will be held at the Grand Junction Police Department at 555 Ute Avenue, Tuesday, September 8, at 6:30pm.
