Grand Junction Pawn Shop Theft Leads to Another Charged
Following the well-publicized arrest of a Grand Junction pawnshop owner for multiple charges, another man has been arrested in connection with the crimes.
The man, 37-year-old Jimmy Stelter of Grand Junction, is wanted in connection with a case that saw the pawnshop's owner receive multiple serious charges earlier this year.
The pawnshop in question, "A Pawn Shop," is located at 353 Pitkin Avenue in Grand Junction, is owned by James "Jimmy" Vaughn Wilcox III, who was recently detained at the Mesa County Detention Facility on a $100,000 cash bond and is facing several felony charges including multiple counts of theft as well as soliciting prostitution.

The latest revelation in this case sees Stelter facing a charge of theft between $2000 and $5000 which is a class six felony. This charge, along with the majority of the charges faced by Wilcox, stems from an investigation by authorities into the stolen property at the pawnshop.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office had been conducting a months-long investigation into the activity at Grand Junction's 'A Pawn Shop' before taking Wilcox into custody and charging him with six felonies as well as eight misdemeanors which subsequently led them to Vaughn who, as of this time, is only facing one felony with regards to the matter.
It is unclear as to when either man will appear in court but police are asking the public to keep an eye out for Vaughn. Authorities are asking anyone with information that could lead them to Vaughn to call the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.
