Grand Junction Has Another Opportunity for Free Flu Shots
Would you like to get a flu shot? Better yet, would you like to get a free flu shot? Your chance is coming up this weekend.
Here at the studio, we are on the verge of an epidemic. Everybody is sick. As a matter of fact, this has been going on for some time. Believe me when I say we are wiping down the consoles and mics with alcohol, disinfectant in every color of the rainbow, and numerous other cleaning products. Nevertheless, people are still getting sick.
MarillacHealth and Bookcliff Christian School will host another free flu clinic on Saturday, February 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clinic will be held at Bookcliff Christian School at 2702 Patterson Road in Grand Junction.
Do you need an appointment? No. Do you need insurance? No. It is open to the public, anyone four years old or older. Put simply, all are welcome.
Personally, I have not had a flu shot. Years ago I was running around with a nurse and she absolutely forbid me to get a flu shot. According to her, it was the worst thing you could do.
Some say a flu shot is essential. At this point, I'm not sure what to do. Free is pretty hard to beat. Then again, when a medical professional tells you not to do something, it might be wise to listen.
Should you choose to pursue getting the vaccination, your chance to get a free flu shot is coming up Saturday. No questions asked. Give serious thought to taking advantage of this free opportunity.
