Grand Junction Food Bank Receives Donation

The Grand Junction Food Bank received 24,000 reasons to keep helping people in Mesa County.

The Grand Junction community continues to support its own causes. An anonymous donation of $24,000 made just this week will cover the Food Bank's rent for one year.

Thanks to KKCO News reporter Tanni Deb, who brings us this story. Having only lived here since last May, it has not yet ceased to amaze me what the Grand Junction area community does for it's own. No doubt, Grand Junction takes care of it's residents and businesses in the area.

Sure does make me wonder who the anonymous donor is. But, again that's probably why this particular person chooses to remain unnamed. Just a wonderful, selfless act that will benefit many Mesa County families for another 365 days. A big 'Thank You' goes out to you, whoever you are.
