
Grand Junction Community & Businesses Donate MORE than 12K for ‘Grant A Wish’ Program
Thanks to businesses and listeners like you we were able to help over 70 kids have a brighter Christmas!
Yesterday (Dec 12th) was the final day to donate to our "Grant A Wish" Program and when all was said and done the final totals REALLY racked up this year!
This program not only provides a gift for the holidays it gives children life skills through programs like dance, basketball, karate, dog obedience, swim lessons and more!!
Here's the breakdown:
- Kids Helped - 78
- Funds Donated - $7,512.00
- Services Donated - $5,049.50
For a GRAND total of $12,561.50
Thanks also to businesses like:

- Grand Valley Kempo
- Absolute Dance
- The Grand Junction Parks & Rec Department
- The Fruita Parks n Rec Department
- The Mesa County Junior Football Association
- The Grand Junction Soccer Club
- Seibukan
AND the staff with Child Find Services who gathered donations from all the departments in the Hawthorne building including:
- Audiology
- Augmentative Team
- Early Childhood
- Pupil Records
- Special Education Records
- Nursing Services
- OT/PT Services
- Vision
Thanks to YOUR generosity we were able to not only give a gift, we were able to "Grant A Wish" for children in need across the Western Slope this holiday season!
