Popular Grand Junction Restaurant Opening 2nd Location in Orchard Mesa
Pollo Azado, with a location at 304 North Avenue in Grand Junction, will open a second restaurant, Pollo Azado 2, at 2740 US-50, right next to Anytime Fitness and just west of the Orchard Mesa City Market.
What Do They Serve?
If you’ve ever stopped by their original spot on North Avenue, you know what kind of flavors to expect—juicy, perfectly seasoned grilled chicken, delicious tacos, and satisfying enchilada meals.
The menu, found at places.singleplatform.com, highlights their mouthwatering offerings, including whole and half chickens, which come with rice, beans, tortillas, grilled onions, jalapeños, and fresh salsa.
When Will Pollo Azado 2 Open in Grand Junction?
An employee at the North Avenue location mentioned on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, that the new spot is expected to open "in about two weeks." That means it won’t be long before Orchard Mesa residents can enjoy Pollo Azado’s signature flavors without the drive across town. A sign at the North Avenue location also notes that the new restaurant is owned and operated by "her son," showing that this expansion is truly a family affair.
As you can see, the new location occupies a single unit in the popular shopping plaza in Orchard Mesa. Looking at the buildout, the venue will offer ample seating for dining in.
Support a New Grand Junction Business
With so many new dining options popping up around town, it’s always exciting to see a local favorite grow. Whether you’ve been a longtime fan of Pollo Azado or you’re looking to try something new, this second location is a great excuse to stop by and support a local business.
