Grand Junction Chick-fil-A Closing, Temporarily
Before you start freaking out that Chick-fil-A in Grand Junction has closed, this is only temporary. I knew as soon as I saw the post online by Chick-fil-A there would be a lot of people that didn't understand why the restaurant was closing.
Let's be honest, it seems like the Chick-fil-A located at 522 Bogart Lane in Grand Junction is always busy. Often times at lunch the line for the drive-thru will wrap around the building twice. Luckily the employees there still manage to get everyone through the line pretty quickly.
Back in February was the last time I stopped at the Chick-fil-A location and ate there. I didn't think the building looked bad or was in need of a remodeling project but that is exactly why the restaurant is closed temporarily.
Unfortunately, the details posted on the Grand Junction Chick-fil-A Facebook page doesn't explain when the restaurant will be open again as even their drive-thru will be closed during this remodel. But I called the restaurant and spoke with an employee that stated the restaurant will be closed until the end of September.
I had no idea that this big of a remodel project would be going on but it sounds like the next time we visit Chick-fil-A in Grand Junction the building is going to look a lot different.
