Grand Junction Challenger Baseball is headed to the World Series. But, they need some help.

Challenger Baseball is a division of Little League that gives mentally challenged and disabled kids in the Grand Junction area, a chance to not only play baseball but learn teamwork, responsibility and friendship.

Their season opens up April 13, but they all have a different date on their minds. That's because August 18-28 is the 2016 Little league World Series, in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, has invited Grand Junction Challenger to play an exhibition game before the start of the Championship game.

The trip is not free. They need to raise about $50,000 for this trip to become a reality. For donation information, you can click on their website or call Carma at (970) 216-5554. I am sure they would appreciate all the help we can give.
