Glamping is known as glamorous camping and it is coming to Palisade thanks to Mesa County's Board of County Commissioners approving it this month.

Glamping is a way for anyone to enjoy the outdoors in comfort. The owners of the Palisade River Ranch Jen and Cameron Campbell-Wilson will provide an extra large tent, which can be compared to a hotel room.

This 100-acre plot of land includes almost a mile of riverfront. Campbell-Wilson plan to blend Palisade tourism and agriculture by providing this glamping spot.

Glamping might not be all that is in store at the Palisade River Ranch. They're also tossing around the idea of hosting smaller events like parties, weddings, retreats, workshops, and more.

Although the site is not open to the public yet, they are giving tours to individuals who would like to see it. Campbell-Wilson can be contacted at PalisadeRiverRanch@gmail.com.
