Glade Park Asks You to Help Pick Movie Lineup for 2020

Here's your chance to be a Hollywood mogul. To be more precise, here's your chance to pick the lineup for the Glade Park Movie Under the Stars 2020 season. Don't be afraid to speak up.

I grew up in this town, and can't remember a time when the Glade Park Volunteer Fire Department wasn't running the Movie Under the Stars. It's been going on forever. After a little digging, it was learned the Movie Under the Stars events began on June 5, 1981.

During the summer months, the GPVFD shows a movie on the outdoor screen. You bring the family, chairs to sit on, a jacket, bug spray, and enjoy. The movies are free. The revenue from the event comes from concession sales.

What are the criteria when it comes to these movies? Well, for the most part, they need to be family-friendly. That's about it. Here's the request from the Glade Park Movies Under the Stars official Facebook page:
