Free Basketball Games This Weekend in Grand Junction

Basketball fans in Grand Junction should be pleased to know there will be free basketball games this weekend in town, although there is one slight catch.

Colorado Mesa University is hosting the annual Holiday Inn- Airport Thanksgiving Classic on Friday and Saturday and offering free admission to fans who bring an item of clothing to donate.

Any new or used winter clothing item, which includes coats, hats, mittens, gloves, etc.,  can be donated at the game for a free general admission ticket. If you want to attend both nights,  you should bring an item to donate both nights. All items will be given to Mesa County Partners.

The classic involves both men's and women's basketball at Brownson Arena. Here is the weekend schedule.

Friday, November 25
