For Sale In Grand Junction: Glacier Ice Arena

The family that has owned the Glacier Ice Arena since it opened is selling it.

Opening its doors in 2006, the Glacier Ice Arena has been, well, one really cool place to go skating, or have parties or play hockey or just have fun, but now it's up for sale and there's no guarantee it will stay the awesome ice skating venue we've come to love.

The honest reality is the building and the site are up for sale, which means anyone could buy it and turn it into something else.

Keeping it as an ice rink is something the current owners would prefer, of course. And hopefully, someone will step up and see the value in keeping it that way.

The rink will reopen on July 27 for the remainder of the summer and into fall, and hopefully long beyond that.
