Foods We Have Been Pronouncing Incorrectly

This was for sure a shock to us. I thought there might be one or two I was mispronouncing, but not SIX!

Thanks to the fine people at DigToKnow, we now, once and for all, can set the record straight although some of the pronunciations to us, still doesn't sound right.

The ones that really stood out to us are "buffet," "almond" and "caramel." We all thought we had these down. Apparently, we are all wrong. Guess you learn something new every day!

Some of these are obvious, such as cocoa and onion, but others are confusing, mainly because of the odd spellings. Go through the list and test yourself. We know you will be just as shocked as we were.
