Country Jam artist Brad Paisley seems to have a certain penchant for park benches. When he makes his way to Mack, Colo. for Country Jam on June 17, he should set aside a little time to visit some of the areas best benches.

Who knows, his thing for park benches may be limited to his "Waiting on a Woman" video. Then again, maybe he has a fetish. In any event, Western Colorado is home to the best outdoor environment under the sun. While he's here, he should kick back and relax on some of Grand Junction's finest.

Memorial Bench on the Audubon Trail

Brad would really enjoy this bench located on the Audubon Trail just a few hundred feet south-west of the ranger station at Connected Lakes. It features plenty of shade, nearby running water, and an abundance of peace and quiet.

    Watson Island

Brad will no doubt enjoy several benches on Watson Island. With this bench, he could sit back and write a tune, practice his guitar, or take a break during a game of Disc Golf.

    Another Watson Island Bench

Here's another bench on Watson Island he might enjoy. This bench doesn't offer the shade or isolation as others, but it does come with an awesome view of the Colorado River.

    Watson Island.... again

This awesome bench, also located on Watson Island, would make for an interesting change of pace for Brad. Every community has park benches, but how many have custom built seats constructed from large sections of timber? A true Colorado experience.

    Chair on Little Park Road

    Honorable Mention

Okay, so it's not a park bench, but it is a Western Colorado fixture. Only one person can use it at a time, but that's fine. Brad could probably use some alone time. This chair has been lingering around the trail system just above the parking area on Little Park Road.

    Watson Island again... and again

Here's another bench on Watson Island. Okay, so we're spending a considerable amount of time in this area. This one goes relatively unnoticed. It is somewhat secluded, tucked behind a number of trees, directly off the bank of the Colorado River.
