We just received reports of a small explosion at East Middle School which required the evacuation of students.

Update at 11:55 am

The building was checked for any additional gas leaks, and none were found so Fire Fighters gave the all clear and students returned to class at 11:45 this morning.

Thankfully the explosion had been contained to a boiler system and the only damage was to a vent.
