Grand Valley.

The intensive features nationally recognized faculty and offers classes in a
multitude of styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap, modern,
improvisation and choreography, and Pilates. Faculty include CMU professors
Melonie Buchanan Murray and Megan Glynn along with Donald Laney from the West Virginia Dance Company among others, and ballet master David Taylor, of the
David Taylor Dance Theatre and his current company, Zikr.

The intensive will culminate with a showcase performance, free and open to the
public on Friday, June 20th at 7:30 pm in the Robinson Theatre. Students will
also have the opportunity to perform with David Taylor’s Zikr, on Saturday,
June 21st, also at 7:30 pm in Robinson. In addition, local dance company Beyond
Boundaries will present a concert on June 14th between the two weeks of classes.

Classes are appropriate for intermediate to advanced students age 14 and up.
Tuition packages are available. Drop in rates are $20 per class, $15 for CMU
students and alumni.

Tickets for Zikr and Beyond Boundaries may be purchased at the door.
