CMU's dance program presents its annual spring dance concert featuring a variety of dance styles—from Modern and Jazz to Tap and Contemporary. Colorado Mesa University faculty and nationally-renowned guest choreographers along with selected student choreographers have created a concert that has something for everyone.

Choreographers include Colorado Mesa faculty Megan Glynn and visiting professor Alicia Laumann, along with adjunct instructors Connie Monroe, Abbi Phillips, Jessica Vandermeer (the latter two are CMU alumni now teaching in the program) and CMU emeritus faculty Ann Sanders. Student choreographers chosen to present work in this concert are Allison Duncan, Molly Cozadd, and Jenni Adams.

CMU's guest choreographer for this semester is Dante Lara, a California and New York based tap dancer, teacher and choreographer. A graduate of Chapman University, Dante is also a successful and well-known street performer in NYC, where he hones his craft collaborating with jazz musicians. He has set an original tap piece on CMU dance majors for Spring Into Dance.

Tickets for Spring Into Dance are available at the box office by calling 970-248-1604.
