On Tuesday, August 19th at 7:30 pm, Dr. Jacqueline Wilson, bassoonist, and Christopher Wilson, percussionist, will present a guest artist recital in the Moss Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The Wilson Duo is a small chamber ensemble, which presents recitals of a variety of repertoire including transcriptions, commissions, and original pieces for bassoon and marimba. The Wilson Duo performs nationally and has recently presented recitals at the International Double Reed Society conference (Redlands, CA), The Ashland Chamber Music Society (Ashland, WI), and on various college campuses.
Jacqueline Wilson is Assistant Professor of Bassoon and Theory at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is an active bassoon performer and pedagogue in the Tri-State area. Christopher Wilson currently serves as the percussion teaching assistant at the University of Northern Colorado where he is pursuing a doctorate in percussion performance.
