Celebrate Batman on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Mesa County Libraries Central Library

Kids and teens and their families are getting ready for a Batman-themed day of fun 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Mesa County Libraries Central Library.

Batman Day will celebrate all things Batman, including Batgirl, Catwoman, and The Joker! Costumes are encouraged. Teens will be able to play Batman video games and can test their comic book knowledge with superhero trivia, while kids can choose from a variety of age-appropriate activities. Here is a schedule of main events:

10 a.m. - Batman Storytime

10:30 a.m. - Crafts! Make Batman, Batgirl, or Catwoman masks. Fold origami into bat figures. Have fun with Caped Crusader-themed puzzles, coloring pages, and more.

11 a.m. - Yo-Yo Club with Aman. Watch some amazing yo-yo tricks, and try your own!

Noon - Learn to draw Batman and Batgirl with artist Bryan Wade.

Don't miss Batman Day at the Central Library. All activities are open to kids, teens, and their families at no charge.
