89th Annual Colorado West Invitational Music Festival

Mesa County School District 51 in cooperation with Colorado Mesa University will host its 89h Annual Colorado West Invitational Music Performance Festival April 24-26, 2014.  This festival will be hosted at five locations on Thursday and Friday with Grand Junction High School, Central High School hosting the band entries, Palisade High School displaying the orchestras, and the Ballroom in the Student’s Center and the Recital Hall at CMU hosting the vocal events.  Two locations will be host on Saturday with the jazz bands performing at CHS and the show and jazz choirs performing in the Recital Hall at CMU.  This year’s festival will show case over 225 performing ensembles from across the state and Utah.  Music lovers are invited to come and enjoy orchestras, choirs, bands and jazz performances from a variety of Middle and High Schools.  All events are free to the public and schedules are listed on our website.
