Love pancakes?  Love Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals?  Then come into participating restaurants in Grand Junction or Montrose on Tuesday March 8, 2016 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and help celebrate their 11th annual National Pancake Day.  Each guest dining at IHOP will be offered the chance to order a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes in the hopes the guests will make voluntary donations.   This is an effort to raise $3.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

In 2015 IHOP Restaurants served over 6 million free pancakes on National Pancake day and pancake lovers donated $3.5 million to children’s charities.  It is interesting to note that all of the free pancakes served on National Pancake Day would create a stack nearly 19 miles high!

Since its inception in 2006, National Pancake Day raised $20 million to support charities in the local communities in which they operate.  This year, IHOP has partnered with Snapchat to develop sponsored Geofilters for customers dining at IHOP on National Pancake Day.  Geofilters are a fun and engaging location-based art that can be added to photo and video Snaps.  Snapchatters will be able to reveal the creative overlays while they are in-restaurant.

Help support the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and enjoy some great food this Tuesday at your local IHOP Restaurant!
