Easy Walk That Leads to Breathtaking Western Slope Views

Land O' Lakes is an easy Grand Mesa "hike" that anyone can do. The half-mile trail leads to an unbelievable view of seven different Grand Mesa Lakes.

The entire trail is paved, with a very small incline. It's wheelchair and stroller accessible, and is a dog-friendly hike, making it a great walk for the entire family. This would be a great hike to bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic lunch at the top.

The trail leads you to an overlook where a couple of kiosks have been set up to point out some of the surrounding mountains, Western Slope towns, and lakes. There are interesting facts on these signs, making you fully appreciate the surrounding views.

Land O' Lakes has no facilities, but it is located near Crag Crest, which has bathroom options. It is also just a few minutes from the Grand Mesa Visitor Center if you prefer nicer restroom amenities.
