Don’t Say This To Your Single Friends On Valentine’s Day

February 14, otherwise known as Valentine's Day is upon us. But, don't forget about all of us single people out there. And please, don't say these things to us.

There is no reason to rub salt in a Valentine's Day open heart wound. When speaking to your single friends this weekend, abstain from using these particular phrases. Trust me, you are not helping.

For those of you who are not single, we get it. You are over the moon happy in the best relationship ever with the greatest partner ever. But, we don't need your self proclaimed expert advice. We are not in a funk, in fact some of us choose to be single. So, don't throw a pity party for us. Valentine's Day is about couples and their love, but we don't want to hear about it.

So, again, no need to refer to this day as S.A.D. Singles Awareness Day. We are fine. At least we will be if you don't say any of these things to us on Sunday.
