Dog Sled Races on the Grand Mesa this Weekend 1/26-27

Support Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado at the 7^th Annual Summit Challenge Dog Sled Race on the Grand Mesa at from 8 to 2 this Saturday & Sunday!

Last year when they called me to emcee I remember thinking, "I didn't even know we had local sled dog races!"

But it's true and i encourage you to take your whole family to check it out!

Just meet us at the summit Top Parking lot on Hwy 65 for one of only 5 qualifying races to compete on Team USA during the World Sled Dog Championships in Alaska and the highest dog sled race in North America at 10,700 ft!

Did you know Colorado has some of the fastest 4, 6 and 8 dog teams plus 1 and 2 dog skijoring teams in the US?!

Come cheer them on as they compete for the top honors all to support Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado.
