In 1978, the year following the release of Star Wars, a director by the name of Ernie Fosselius brought us the epic parody known as "Hardware Wars." The film was made with a whopping budget of $8,000 bucks, but went on to be a hugely profitable endeavor. Take a look at our full length presentation of the films that stated, "May the Farce be with you."

Keep in mind, back in 1978, this is what we had. You could just go to Netflix and order Star Wars. There was no Redbox. You had to wait for movies to show up on HBO, that is assuming you had HBO, or wait for the CBS Movie of the Week. In any case, that could amount to having to wait for years. "Hardware Wars" did a fine job of keeping us pacified until VCR's became commonplace in the mid 1980's.
