In the early 1980's he was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's fastest typist on a manual typewriter. He even went on to become something of a minor celebrity by appearing on NBC's "Real People." This, however, was not enough for Ron Mingo. He had to push it to an all new level: Musical Typewriting.

Ron Mingo gave up a career as a pro football and baseball player to pursue a more glamorous career as a part-time high school typing teacher. Ultimately, he set the world record by typing at the breakneck speed of 160 words per minute. Keep in mind, this is all on a manual typewriter, not a keyboard.

When you have as much talent as Ron Mingo, you have to push the limits. Sit back and enjoy the soulful sounds of the one... the only... Ron Mingo.
