Did Answer Cost Miss Colorado the Title?

First of all, congratulations to our very own Miss Colorado Kelly Johnson! She finished 2nd Runner Up in Saturday night's Miss America Pageant. That is quite an accomplishment in itself.

However, there has been some controversy about her stance on one issue.

Did this response possibly cost her the title? If you watch it again carefully, you can see another contestant, just off to the side, literally burst out laughing at Kelly's suggestion.

There has been some talk on the internet that she meant to say Eleanor Roosevelt, but from the brain to the mouth it came out as Ellen DeGeneres. Nothing against Ellen at all, we like her show, but was that the appropriate reply to what we assume was a serious themed question?

Well, whatever the reasons, it is a memorable clip. Which reminds of what could possibly THE best 'answer' ever given by a pageant contestant. Oh, yes we are talking about Miss South Carolina from back in 2007.  Remember that?
