A man who impersonated a police officer in Denver and attempted to kidnap a woman has yet to be found.

The attempt occurred on the evening of October 29 and police have yet to find or identify the suspect.

But they now have an idea of what the guy looks like and have posted a sketch of the man in the hopes that someone will see and recognize him and alert authorities to his whereabouts.

The victim that morning was brushing snow off of her car when the suspect approached, said he was a police officer, then proceeded to point a gun at her and order her into a vehicle.

The victim did what she was told and was driving the vehicle when she escaped.

The man is described as a white male, 5'10" and was last seen wearing a blue track or warm-up pants, a black police-style jacket, a black knit beanie, and what looked like a bulletproof vest on under the jacket with a radio attached.

There is a $2,000 reward that leads to the arrest of this individual, Contact Crime Stoppers-Denver at (720) 913-7867 if you have any information that will help this case.
