Denver Colorado Historic Tom’s Diner Set To Reopen
A legend is coming back and rising from the ashes like a phoenix.
The historic Tom's Diner in Denver, which just a couple of years ago found itself on the National Register of Historic Places, was forced to close down in March of 2020 during the start of the pandemic. It is now set to re-open its doors with a few little twists.
First off, the name. As iconic as it is, there's going to be a slight change to it as it's going to be called "Tom's Starlight". This 24/7 spot on Colfax Avenue, which has been a fixture for decades in the Mile High City, is getting a bit of a sprucing up with the addition of a sweet outdoor space to go along with some shining up on the inside.

We're not sure if the famous bright yellow booths are going to stick around but, hopefully, they do because they were such a part of its unique character. That, along with their fun and witty menu, and the fact that they've charged customers for asking stupid questions -
Now that's funny. And so was this little option on the menu:
Hopefully, this kind of fun stuff stays around with the newer version of the diner.
Either way, the anticipation is certainly building for this unveiling set for sometime this summer.
I've heard a lot about this place from some friends who have been Denverites their entire lives, so I'm excited to check out the place.
Even with the new name, I'm still going to always have this song in my head when I hear about it or go there.
