Colorado native running back, Phillip Linsday, is now an unrestricted free agent according to CBS Denver. Linsday took to social media Thursday morning to announce that he and the Denver Broncos have mutually agreed to part ways.

With Linsday becoming an unrestricted free agent, he has the opportunity to play for other teams and the Denver Broncos will not have the right to match any offer given to the running back.

Phillip Linsday said "I'm very appreciative for my time with the Denver Broncos. As a Colorado kid, I was able to fulfill my dream of playing for my home team. I want to thank my teammates, coaches, staff, and everyone involved in the Broncos organization who made this possible for me." on Twitter Thursday.

The Denver Broncos previously offered Phillip Lindsay a lower tender offer that would have allowed him to explore deals with other teams as a restricted free agent, but the Broncos would have the option to match any offer that Lindsay may have gotten.

The Denver Broncos have confirmed that they will indeed part ways with Phillip Lindsay via Twitter.
