But we were also just getting to know Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry and Keith Urban — all now major players in country music.

Paisley, Montgomery Gentry and Urban's debut albums all turn 20 years old in 2019, as do a number of other memorable releases. Dolly Parton's bluegrass album, The Grass Is Blue, and Toby Keith's How Do You Like Me Now?! both dropped in 1999, as did Kenny Chesney's Everywhere We Go and the Dixie ChicksFly.
