Just look at that collar! Who says orange and brown don't make for a clever fashion statement. The bathrooms at the grocery store where I shop are decorated in orange and brown. What are the odds that my 1975 fashion collection could rake in some big bucks at the Mom-2-Mom sale?

This is my Evil Knievel jumpsuit my mom made for me. I wore this everyday to Mrs. Jameson's Kindergarten class at Pomona Elementary. No doubt you know a child who would love to sport this fine outfit.

Okay, fair enough. I fully realize this outfit, as cool as it was back in 1975 when Evil Knievel was still a somebody (and still alive for that matter,) could only serve to scare away chicks and potential friends in this day and age.

As I grew older and began to feel a little silly wearing an Evil Knievel jumpsuit, I laid it to rest, and had my mom make me a far-more-practical Evil Knievel shirt.

It is with a lump in my throat that I must concede these stellar fashions are probably of no interest to anyone but my mother and me. My mother saved the Evil Knievel suit. My other childhood clothes were either destroyed in the process of being worn, or were yard-saled close to 40 years ago.

If you're searching for great bargains on gently used infant and children's clothing, all of which will be far more contemporary and in-style than the wardrobes featured above, then be sure to join us this Saturday for the Mom-2-Mom sale at the Lincoln Park Barn.
