The 2015 Grand Junction Downtown Parade of Lights has come and gone, with KEKB taking 1st place in the Media division. Take a look at the KEKB crew as they put together this year's float.

The entire gang, Zane Mathews, Tom Freeman, Ed Chandler, Dave Bradley, Keyes, Tim Gray, John Hughes, Dr. Scott, and Waylon gathered together in the Townsquare Media parking lot early Saturday to construct the float.

This year's theme: Pedaling Into the Holidays. To complete our float, we borrowed bikes from Monument Fitness on Broadway, as well as a few gym members to serve as riders.

Marsh Trucking provided the truck and the trailer. For that matter, they provided the driver: Matt and the entire family.

The float also featured live music with the Shea Bramer Band. Christmas favorites including 'Here Comes Santa Claus', 'Feliz Navidad', and Silver Bells rang out as the group made their way through the parade route.

When the parade was over, our float won 1st place in the Media Division. Okay, so there was only a handful of floats in the Media division. In the end, that doesn't matter. The crew had a great time putting together the float, and hope you all enjoyed the festivities.
