As the price of gas, groceries, and just about everything else continues to increase in Colorado, the month of July will also bring higher prices to post offices around the Centennial State.

USPS Introduces July Price Increases

Most Coloradans don't get a raise twice a year, but every year since 2021, we have been hit with two separate price increases toward the cost of 'Forever' stamps. These price increases are part of what is generating the $44 billion in revenue for USPS needed by 2031. Forever stamps will now increase from 68 cents to 73 cents on July 14th.

Prices for All Services Will Rise

The overall cost for all USPS services will increase by over 7.5% in July. In addition to the previously mentioned price increase of postage, the cost of sending a single-piece letter is about to go up from 24 cents to 28 cents. For those sending mail out of the country, international postcards and international 1-ounce letters will increase by 10 cents to a cost of $1.65.
