As you've no doubt noticed by now, finding out what Colorado is the best at is one of my favorite hobbies. What can I say? I like to live vicariously through the accomplishments of my state. While I've looked at how Colorado compares to other states in the country before, I've never actually looked at where Colorado ranks amongst the states overall. I mean, is that even a list? Well, no, unfortunately, though like most other lists like this, I've noticed, Colorado finds itself comfortably toward the upper-middle portion of the pack. According to US News & World Report, Colorado is ranked #16 in the United States. This is actually down a bit, from #10 back in 2019. I'm not entirely sure what it was that led to a six-point drop in four years, but I wouldn't be surprised if it had anything to do with Colorado bros.

Are you curious who the number one state in the country is? How could you not be? Well, believe it or not, that distinction belongs to the state of Washington, currently listed as the best state in the USA. Why? I guess they score higher for things like healthcare, education, and their economy, but if we were to make a list based on pure grit and determination, I'm sure Colorado would easily take it.
