It's time to start making a list of everything you are going to need on Christmas Day, check it twice, and get all the stuff you are going to need from your local Colorado Walmart or Target before they close on December 24th.

In recent years, several big box stores like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and others have remained closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas to give employees time with their families. The same is expected for 2024.

Colorado Stores Closing on December 25th

Unless otherwise posted in-store, all Colorado Walmart locations in Colorado will be closed on Christmas Day. Most Walmart stores will remain open until 6 PM on Christmas Eve, but expect the store to be closed on December 25th.

Colorado's Target Stores will also be closed on Christmas Day. According to the company website, most locations will remain open until 8 PM on Christmas Eve and remain closed on December 25th.

Colorado Liquor Stores are also closed on Christmas Day. Under Colorado law, stores are not allowed to sell malt, vinous, or spirituous liquors during any hours on Christmas Day. This does not apply to bars and restaurants that wish to remain open for the holiday.

Colorado Stores Open on December 25th

According to Reader's Digest, several stores and restaurants will be open on Christmas Day, 2024. These include 7 11 stores, Speedway and Circle K gas stations, select CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens locations, Denny's, IHOP,  Waffle House, and McDonald's restaurants, and more.
