A surveillance video captured a vandal in the act of damaging the Colorado state capitol building.

The suspect in the January burglary is 26-year-old Elias Dominguez, who was arrested in connection with the vandalism. Dominguez was reportedly inside the capitol building between about 2:30am and 5:00am.

As you can see from the video, bust sculptures and furniture were damaged. According to arrest documents, glass cabinets and signage were also damaged, and the suspect used a fire extinguisher on the main level.

Dominguez has pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree burglary, but will not be going to jail. He was sentenced to two years of supervised probation.
