Starting on May 4, 2023, because May the fourth be with you, is the only fitting day to kick off an auction to buy the rights to a dozen Star Wars-themed license plates. The auction will start on the license plates on May 4, 2023, at 8:00 am and go through  7:00 pm May 11, 2023.

 How Does Getting My Star Wars License Plate Work?

If you win the auction for the license plate you wanted, you have officially purchased the right to use the plate configuration on your official Colorado license plate. You, the winner of the auction, will still have to pay for standard DMv registration fees when the plate configuration is done for your vehicle.
