Some Colorado cities could see a change in the laws concerning 'panhandling.'

From a story at KKCO News, the American Civil Liberties Union is looking for more than 30 Colorado cities and towns to eliminate all rules and regulations that forbid panhandling. Rifle and Meeker are included in that group.

The Union has also contacted those communities and asked them to not enforce them for the time being.

Now, Grand Junction is not on the list of cities. Is it because our panhandling laws are more flexible than those other places? Or are we just not enforcing them thoroughly?

Do you feel that the laws in Grand Junction need to be changed?
