According to Statista, the average daily rate of the United States hotel industry was $148.83 in 2022. It appears we can thank COVID for some of that. Budget Your Trip reports the average price of a hotel for 3 days in Colorado is $1,121.

What Other States Have To Offer

If you believe those rates are pricey, take a look at my hotel experience from my trip to New York back in May 2023. This hotel, the Paramount, is located right in the heart of the Theatre District of Manhattan. The price? This luxury suite ran $350 a night, before tax. Take a look at these opulent accommodations.

As you can see, even the scuzziest hotel in Colorado has a better view than this. While hotels are anything but cheap, Colorado is sitting pretty compared to many.
